I had a side exit exhaust with a straight through muffler and it was pretty loud in the cab so I looked at the specs for this and it would fit in the section section that turned out to the side and I could still fit my 4" tip. I made 1 cut on the old pipe mounted it up and cut off the excess. Fired it up and went for a drive and I love it. It cut down the loudness great and while it did kill the hyway drone its been subdued and I can listen to the radio without having to turn it up.
